Stella McCartney Sweater
I've always had a soft spot for tartan. I'm sure that we all had a penchant for a short tartan skirt once upon a time. Perusing rails upon rails of vintage kilts in a plethora of colours, lengths and prints was a weekly hobby for me.
Stella McCartney's AW13 collection is one of my favourite of the season; the cosy chunky knits, oversized coats and skirt sets which resemble pyjamas literally have me planning a weekend in the Highlands by a log fire drinking copious amounts of whiskey and stuffing my face with shortbread.
The first piece that I need to get my hands on is this beautiful angora tartan sweater. It may not be cheap but winter will certainly be that bit more manageable with this in my life.

I adore these looks from Chloe's S/S14 show.
It must be a sign of maturity that I find these covered up looks incredibly sexy (or maybe it's just a lack of sleep).

There's nothing I love more this season than well-loved, butter soft leather, simple sandals that belonged in a Calvin Klein show circa 1990 and an oversized, slouchy leather clutch that's held like a paper bag.

Fausto Puglisi really is a designer that keeps me wanting more and more each season. His dresses and palm tree prints are perfect for next summer, the countdown is on.
